POSITION INFO:
The Compliance Technician is expected to work to maintain and improve Quality culture throughout the facility in accordance with the direction of plant and department leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interpret part requirements from engineering documentation and validate inspection data accordingly.
- Assist in documenting of inspection programs in (SOS) standard work format.
- Perform part and process inspections using established quality equipment and processes and maintain corresponding inspection records.
- Includes Foundry & Quality Lab equipment, based on area assignment, including, but not limited to, tensile testers, spectrographs, and CMMs.
- Maintain documentation in support of Quality Management System processes, including departmental standard work and other ISO documents as necessary.
- Work with engineering and manufacturing personnel in resolving product and process problems as directed.
- Assist in gage control processes, including calibration and validation of gages.
- Perform internal quality audits and process reviews.
- Other duties as assigned by Quality Coordinator, including environmental, safety, or other compliance activities.
EXPERIENCE:

Quality or compliance background utilizing metrology equipment Preference for individuals with experience in high volume manufacturing systems |
EDUCATION:
High school diploma/equivalent required; Associates degree in technical field preferred.
