POSITION INFO:

This position is responsible for managing all lean transformation activities at the site, champion change and be a resource for lean improvement techniques. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate Kaizen Events.
  • Monitor 30 day follow ups.
  • Work with supervisors to sustain event results.
  • Train team leaders and associates on various lean tools and techniques.
  • Be a resource of lean and 6 Sigma information.
  • Develop Standard Operation Sheets and all applicable forms or flow charts created during kaizen events.
  • Maintain and update the SQDC (safety, quality, delivery, cost) metrics.
  • Ensure that changes conform to ISO and safety standards.
  • Maintain record of event participation by associates.
  • Interface with Continuous Improvement office to establish consistent approach for enterprise direction and database.
  • Lead efforts to perform Machine time studies and set production standards by SKU and operation.
  • Coordinate updating of cost standards and routings related to updated time study information.

EXPERIENCE:

Prior Continuous Improvement Experience; Prior Manufacturing Experience; Lean Concepts, SAP Knowledge

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree required.

Candidates must have project management, change management, quality process awareness, verbal and written communication skills, analytical skills, strong customer orientation, time management and commitment to company values.
