POSITION INFO:

This position is responsible for providing support in functional areas of the Human Resources department, including but not limited to assisting with recruiting and employment, benefit administration, associate training, support associate recognition programs and communication.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain HR information system records and compiles reports from the database as needed.
  • Manage benefit coordination and administration
  • Support the compensation and payroll administration function and maintain accurate master data.
  • Support all Human Resources communications and answering questions as needed.
  • Support and occasionally lead associate recognition programs
  • Involved in staffing, recruiting and onboarding efforts including but not limited to:
    • Post positions on various job boards to attract ideal candidates. 
    • Evaluate resumes against position requirements. 
    • Schedule and conduct structured interviews with appropriate candidates. 
    • Answer questions, as necessary from Hiring Managers pertaining to open positions. 
    • Conduct reference and background checks on potential candidates. 
    • Conduct new hire orientations
    • Maintain recruiting database and incoming resumes on the server. 
    • Use search tools to find candidates, including job fairs and other community events
  • Must be able to work with confidential information in a professional manner
  • Any other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE:

5+ years of HR experience preferred

SAP/SuccessFactors experience preferred

HR Compliance and working knowledge of FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, I-9 compliance

 

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred; SHRM or HRCI credentials may be accepted.

TRAINING AND SKILLS:

Successful candidates will have strong organizational skills

Good interpersonal skills and be able to interact with individuals in small or large groups.

Experience with Microsoft Office specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Excellent written, verbal and organization communication skills
