PERFORMANCE ROLES

 

  • Safety role – Compliance and participation in safety related programs and initiatives
  • Engineering & Quality Role –  Ensure compliance for all areas of responsibility
  • Customer Service – Understands customer requirements.  Ensures that the needs of external and internal customers are met on time and accurately.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish methods & standards for production processes
    • Ergonomic efficiency, safe work practices, time & material optimization
  • Collect data & process analytics in support of process improvement projects
    • Time studies, capacity & cost analysis, operational efficiency studies, etc.
  • Manage process flow & layouts, value stream mapping, and material movement plans
  • Audit processes against established methods/standard work
  • Assist development & maintenance of packaging configuration & servicing
  • Aid in the instruction, training, and implementation of new equipment & processes, methods & work instructions, or continuous improvement activities
  • Support kaizen/Continuous Improvement projects
  • Leverage SAP ERP system to manage BOMs & routings for multiple production lines
  • Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-2 years of Industrial Engineering experience preferred

 

EDUCATION:

  • Associate Degree in Industrial Technology preferred

TRAINING AND SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Knowledge of SAP would be a plus.
