PERFORMANCE ROLES
- Safety role – Compliance and participation in safety related programs and initiatives
- Engineering & Quality Role – Ensure compliance for all areas of responsibility
- Customer Service – Understands customer requirements. Ensures that the needs of external and internal customers are met on time and accurately.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish methods & standards for production processes
- Ergonomic efficiency, safe work practices, time & material optimization
- Collect data & process analytics in support of process improvement projects
- Time studies, capacity & cost analysis, operational efficiency studies, etc.
- Manage process flow & layouts, value stream mapping, and material movement plans
- Audit processes against established methods/standard work
- Assist development & maintenance of packaging configuration & servicing
- Aid in the instruction, training, and implementation of new equipment & processes, methods & work instructions, or continuous improvement activities
- Support kaizen/Continuous Improvement projects
- Leverage SAP ERP system to manage BOMs & routings for multiple production lines
- Other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE:
- 1-2 years of Industrial Engineering experience preferred
EDUCATION:
- Associate Degree in Industrial Technology preferred
TRAINING AND SKILLS:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of SAP would be a plus.
