POSITION INFO:
The maintenance mechanic works to promote vision and values by maintaining and repairing machinery.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work from written and verbal instructions and machine schematics.
- Welding, simple electrical, carpentry, masonry, minor plumbing, general building maintenance.
- Maintenance of forklifts, occasional fork lift operation.
- Installation or relocation of machinery and equipment.
- Repair and maintain mechanical functions of machines.
- Intermittent heavy lifting.
- Repair hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Must be capable of performing all mechanical maintenance.
- Keeps work area clean and orderly.
- Other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of two years experience in a heavy industrial environment.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or GED required.
