POSITION INFO:

The Master Mechanic Position works to promote vision and values by maintainting and repairing machinery.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Welding, simple electrical, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, general buildings and ground maintenance.
  • Work from written and verbal instructions and machine schematics
  • Create tooling, fixtures, gauges for manufacturing as needed.
  • Operate CNC lathes, mills, and other equipment needed to produce and repair parts for machines.   
  • Maintenance of forklifts, occasional forklift operation.
  • Use hot works tooling including welders, torches and other hot works tooling.
  • Installation or relocation of machinery and equipment.
  • Repair and maintain mechanical functions of machines.
  • Intermittent heavy lifting.
  • Repair hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
  • Must be capable of performing all mechanical maintenance.
  • Keeps work area clean and orderly.
  • Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 5 years experience in heavy industrial environment.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent
