POSITION INFO:

The Shipping Clerk works to promote vision and values by preparing shipping documents and maintaining shipping files within the Blytheville facility.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepares all shipping documents.
  • Maintains all shipping files.
  • Types all bills of lading, packing lists, shipping orders, interplant shipments and manifest documents.
  • Processing new and current factory orders for shipments.
  • Prepares a daily shipment format on all factory orders shipped.
  • Prepare all mail relating to shipments daily.
  • Obtain tracing and delivery information from carriers as required.
  • Must be able to work from computer printouts to keep record of inventory, proper billing and status of factory orders.
  • Keeps work area clean and orderly.
  • Must work from written and verbal instructions.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills.
  • Very proficient computer skills required.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

EXPERIENCE:

Previous clerical experience in a shipping office is preferred.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent

TRAINING AND SKILLS:

Proficiency in Microsof Word and Outlook required.

Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
