POSITION INFO:

Directly supervise and coordinate all resources on a given shift. Responsible for meeting organizational goals in safety, production, quality, and customer service.  

Hours: 2:30p - 11:30p

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and drive NIBCO Core Values in every area and process
  • Supervise all production operations including indirect areas to optimize production levels
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate department activities to fulfill sales orders, meet inventory requirements, and deliver manufactured products on time
  • Expectation to deliver and meet organizational goals related to safety, quality, customer service, and productivity
  • Ability to effectively communicate to various levels within the organization
  • Drive and lead 6S principles amongst the plant
  • Drive continuous improvement projects and initiatives
  • Ability to calmly manage multiple priorities in a high stakes environment
  • Recognize all potential safety hazards and assign resources to address and prevent them in the future
  • Establish and support a positive safety culture across the manufacturing environment
  • All other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of experience manufacturing supervision experience.
  • 3-5 years Lean Manufacturing experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using IQMS, SAP, and work order systems preferred.

EDUCATION:

Associate degree or technical schooling preferred or 5 – 10 years progressive manufacturing experience. Preferred knowledge in plastic injection molding.

Demonstrated ability in servant leadership is required; strong organizational and time management skills. Quality driven. Excellent oral and written communication. Strong teamwork mindset. Self-motivated individual who can work independently. Strong safety mindset. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:

Ability to regularly stand, lift, bend, twist, stoop, crouch, and reach with arms and hands.
