POSITION INFO:

Quality Auditors are to inspect products to ensure that all quality standards are maintained in accordance with NSF, UPC, CSA, and IAPMO specifications and that all packaging standards are followed. They are also to perform lab testing and measurement checks in accordance with ASTM & Canadian Standards. 

3rd shift hours: 11:00pm - 7:30am. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    Inspect & test finished products at machine & in lab 
•    Inspect product at beginning of each start-up to verify compliance to applicable standards 
•    Maintain records of inspected product as required and report all substandard conditions 
•    Reject product that does not meet or exceed applicable standards 
•    Advise shift supervisors & troubleshooters of any substandard product & need to corrective action to meet or exceed quality guidelines 
•    Prepare & make available all reports concerning quality & testing to keep all responsible persons aware of current quality conditions. 
•    Calibration responsibility  
•    3-part mold trialing sheets 
•    Conduct Final Packaging Audits 
•    Support and comply with safety programs 
•    Perform all other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE:

Experience successfully operating and maintaining the machinery associated with this particular work area will be most heavily considered when selecting from applicants for this position (experience operating and maintaining any heavy manufacturing equipment, manual and/or automated, will be considered favorable). Familiarity with the quality checks associated with production of plastic fittings will also be a plus.

EDUCATION:

A High School diploma or GED is required

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
