POSITION INFO:
DEPARTMENT: Production
JOB TYPE: Salary Exempt
SHIFT: Monday through Friday
REPORTS TO: Plant Manager
PERFORMANCE SUMMARY:
This position is primarily responsible for ensuring products and distribution meet established standards of quality and efficiency. This includes overseeing quality assurance and control processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Creating and maintaining quality control processes, procedures, and policies to meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with NSF and IAPMO Standards and Codes. Interact with agencies as necessary.
• Manage site ISO program and coordinate all related compliance activities.
• Tracks quality and scrap metrics, identifies trends, and recommends improvements to processes and products.
• Provides guidance, coaching, and support to quality control personnel.
• Works closely with various teams, corporate, and stakeholders to ensure quality processes are aligned with business objectives.
• Evaluates quality control processes, identifies area for improvement, and implements corrective actions.
• Understands and addresses customer needs and feedback related to product quality and service.
EXPERIENCE:
• Plastic injection molding experience desired
• 1-2 years quality experience in a Lean manufacturing environment is desired
EDUCATION:
• Bachelor’s degree
TRAINING AND SKILLS:
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Experience with MS Office and Teams is required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, specifically root-cause-analysis
• Proficiency in quality management systems and tools
• SAP experience is desired

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Temperature extremes of up to 110 degrees in peak summer months

Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
