RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Perform incoming, in-process and outbound inspection, sampling, final testing and inspection of finished products and components.
•    Record inspection results (i.e., acceptance, rejection, disposition, etc.) 
•    Initiate procedures to ensure quality and specifications are met.
•    Process, track, and follow-through on Customer RMAs.
•    Process, track, and follow-through on Supplier NCRs.
•    Assist with ISO 9001 Compliance requirements and Internal audits. 
•    Other duties as assigned.


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 
•    Minimum of 3-5 years of QA experience in a manufacturing company.
•    Prior experience in warehouse and receiving necessary and must be able to manage multiple activities.  
•    Background in quality control and quality assurance (ISO 9001) preferred. 
•    Experience with QA tools and techniques and test execution.

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: 
• H/S diploma and/or equivalent.

•    Strong desire to prevent and resolve problems.
•    Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for quality. 
•    Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving, interpersonal, and time management skills. 
•    Possess strong organizational skills.  
•    Excel at the shop floor level as a “hands on” Quality Assurance Leader in resolving quality bottlenecks and problems that threaten customer satisfaction.  
•    Motivate and inspire the organization to form as a quality culture driving towards flawless execution.  
•    Work well independently as well as part of a team. 
•    Make mathematical computations quickly and accurately. 
•    Understand and follow written and verbal instructions. 
•    Communicate and work cooperatively with co-workers, departmental representatives, sales representatives, management, customers and vendors. 
•    Ability to read/understand engineering drawings. 
•    Understand system as it relates to receiving and inspection.  
•    Read and populate documents (MS Word, Excel). 
•    Use and train others in the use of shop tools, measuring equipment, testing equipment and related procedures.   
•    Knowledge of assembly and standard production practices.

 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:  
•    Must be willing to work extended hours to ensure all job requirements are fulfilled.  
•    Must be willing to train others in quality activities as required. 

 

KNOWLEDGE OF: 
• Quality principles, practices, and procedures. 
• Basic computer proficiency, specifically Excel, Word, Outlook and SAP.
