POSITION INFO:
This position is in the Nacogdoches Foundry and reports to the 3rd Shift Supervisor. This position is primarily responsible working any foundry area assigned. The associate selected for this position will be required to work in the foundry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Daily housekeeping activities.
• Daily safety checks for unsafe acts and conditions.
• Work closely with supervision to fill their customer’s needs.
• Identify and replace dull or broken tooling.
• Perform required quality checks.
• Promote lean manufacturing in all processes.
• Any other assigned duties as specified by the supervisor
EXPERIENCE:
1 yeare manufacturing experance perfered.
EDUCATION:
High School Deploma or GED is perfered
TRAINING AND SKILLS:
• Must have good math skills
• Teamwork/Collaboration
• Good work ethic
• Self-motivated
• Have demonstrated mechanical aptitude
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:
• Ability to continuously stand or walk.
• Must complete an internal application.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to bend, squat, & lift < 35 pounds frequently
• Ability to move rolling product cart > 150 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work in a hot environment.
